I definitely learned my lesson for being cheap on safety. For 5 months, I have been using a $27 steering wheel, $8 steering hub/boss, and a $30 quick release on ebay; they were the least expensive ones I found on eBay. The cheap quick release has detached itself while I was turning, and the wheel fell off. The wheel itself was just made from incredibly cheap quality. The cheap quick release definitely wobbled and had play after the first month of installing it. I had no choice but to upgrade to a full NRG steering kit. My life isn't worth $70 which was what I payed for the cheap steering kit.
